A Way Away in a World of White

Japan was my first solo trip. And in more than one ways, I realized that travel has the propensity to reveal to me not just the world, but parts of myself I had seldom seen. It was an onslaught of emotions more difficult to sort than the trash in the country, a display of nature more poignant than I had ever seen in my native city and a collection of stories that just keeps growing everyday. And that is what this bridge was, another story when I had least expected it. Which found me when I needed it the most, like it must have found millions of wandering feet before.
